My name is Melissa and I wrote this essay about myself to tell my story and share my accomplishments. I'm currently studying to become a teacher. I love my specialty and feel that it gives me the opportunity to grow and develop. I also continue to volunteer to help organizations that deal with social issues.

My life motto is a quote from Henry Ford: “Time does not like to be wasted” I try not to allow empty hours and even minutes: I study, take trainings and webinars, read, watch interesting films, spend time with friends and family. It seems to me that this is much more productive than simply indulging in dreams or worrying about failures. After finishing my bachelor's degree, I plan to enroll in a master's program and work at the same time. I would like to get a job in some cultural institution, in the international relations department. I believe that I can be useful there and at the same time do what I love Self-actualization is extremely important to me. I am sincerely happy when I feel useful and help people. Friends listen to my advice; my opinion is authoritative for them. I really like explaining something, telling things and seeing the results of my work. I am the most ordinary girl, trying to be optimistic about life. I would like to become strong, successful and self-confident.
